The KSSM 12 series of high-performance shoulder mill cutters are engineered to machine titanium and other materials where high temperatures are generated during operations. With effective thermal management in reduced cutting temperatures, the KSSM 12 milling cutter’s through coolant capabilities improve lubricity at the cutter zone improving chip control and tool life. The strong design is ideal for the most demanding 90º applications. The KSSM 12 platform is ideal for face milling, shoulder milling, pocketing, profiling, ramping, and helical interpolations. Square inserts are available with four cutting edges and Precision Coolant Technology (PCT) where coolant moves through the inserts while machining. IC12 inserts are only for helical cutters.
