KSOM
The KSOM platform of shell mills and inserts are engineered for ramping, plunging, helical interpolation, and face milling operations. They deliver super soft cutting due to the positive rake face and operate at low cutting forces, providing higher feed capability to enhance overall productivity. The KSOM inserts feature eight cutting edges and are available in fine or coarse-pitch styles. Their excellent performance in aluminum, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys makes them the preferred choice for applications in the general engineering, automotive, and machine tool industries. Through-coolant capability available.
