Guide Pad Reaming
Master high precision with guide pads for reaming applications. Guide pads travel on a setting fixture to ensure alignment and pressure are applied to the cutting surface, which helps achieve the desired hole size, geometry, and a smooth surface finish. The reaming inserts are great for machining almost all materials. You can choose two unique padded systems: the Reamer Insert Rectangular (RIR™) for small diameters and the Reamer Insert Quattro Cut™ (RIQ Quatro Cut™) for easy setup of larger diameters. Additionally, the RIR pocket seats are flat with a clamping groove in the blade and the RIQ seat is serrated for greater stability. These reamer pads and setting fixtures improve machining efficiency and quality, making them indispensable tools in reaming operations.
