MaxiMet™

The MaxiMet™ solid carbide end mill series provides exceptional metal removal rates and combines roughing and finishing operations in any aluminum plunging, slotting, and profiling application. The unequal three-flute spacing reduces vibrations and provides chatter-free machining. MaxiMet offers 1xD slotting capability, side milling capability up to 0.5xD radial, and 1.5xD axial engagement, resulting in fewer tool passes and increased productivity. These solid end mills can be used with Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) and offer exceptional wall-to-floor perpendicularity in thin-wall applications.
